I've been stitching for 30 years. Boy, does the time go by fast when you're having fun! I'm a SAHM of 4 (5 if you want to count the dh) & 3 cats. My favorite addictions...err... I mean, hobbies, and not necessarily in this order are: cross stitching, collecting Coca-cola items(as well as drinking it) as well as teacups & saucers & Fenton hand blown art glass, and visiting my stitching BBs.

I don't know when I'll get this finished, but I will get it finished. I started it because both my mom and I are fanatics about carousels. Then, after I started working on it, my mom started having health problems. Every time I would pick it up to work on it, something would happen to her. So, I stopped working on it. Well, she stopped having health problems. Now, I feel like I can start working on it once again. As a matter of fact, on 1/3/09, the 10 year anniversary of when I first started working on this, I worked on it again. No calls to me that she was having any problems. So the bad luck cycle is broken and I can start working on it once again.
